What level of education do you need to work at a nursing care facility?

I really want a job where I can provide some kind of help or care to people... Considering speech therapy, psychical therapy, or becoming just a general nursing assistant.

Megan’s Answer

Hi Anastasia! There are many different levels of health care. I would think about how long you want to be in school and how much you want to pay for your degree.

I would start with volunteering at a nursing center or getting a part-time job for you to start exploring what healthcare job you are most interested in.

speech therapy is a master's degree. You would need your bachelor's (4 years) and speech therapy masters (2 years)
psychical therapy is a doctorate. You would need your bachelors (4 years) and doctorate in physical therapy (4 years)
general nursing assistant is a certification that you can get at 18 and is a great way to start in health care and build your way up

I hope this helps!
