Kathleen’s Answer

I expected to learn many areas of nursing. I have always known that I wanted to be a nurse and I have loved caring for the elderly. I have gotten to learn all areas of nursing during my studies this way I was able to feel I would be a good nurse in any area that I work. I have found that I made the right choice by caring for the elderly and they have taught me so much by sharing their lives with me. It also taught me to be more compassionate and how important speaking and spending time with my parents and family is. My dad just died in February and I am glad I was able to care for him and listen to his life stories. I hope that this helps you.
