How do I actually win the scholarships I apply for?
I apply for so many scholarships and never seem to win any. I truly need this money yet it feels like I will never get it. #scholarships

Kennedy,
Don't get discouraged. Unfortunately there are thousands of applicants for every scholarship and they can not give the award to everyone. The best advice I can give you is don't stop applying! Also do not pass up scholarship opportunities because you think you will not get them.
It also helps to reach out to the schools you are applying to. Generally universities give the most money in scholarships to incoming freshman. You can learn more about a college's scholarship opportunities from their financial aid website. After you have done this you should call the financial aid office and ask to speak with an advisor. Take notes on the scholarships you think apply to you so you have questions prepared when you speak with them. They are there to help you so don't worry about asking them anything and everything about the different scholarship programs they have.
Good luck!
