Hi Kyle,
As Sanaa said, there are many jobs out there, but it can be hard to get into the industry. I graduated with a degree in English Literature and majored in Chinese language - the easiest job to find is to be an English teacher overseas. Asia is a popular destination.
If you study another language (diligently) - you can become an interpreter. But I've found that a more obvious advantage is that your language skills will help open doors for you in any job you have (for example, I know someone who speaks Japanese but works in cyber security and ended up helping translate for potential new clients)
If you go into Linguistics, that is more an academic field though there are some jobs out there.
Journalism is also an option if you like to research and write, though you will also have to learn new media skills such as streaming, video etc.
Now, if you like to write - you'll have to figure out if you like creative or non-fiction writing. If creative, what genre do you like most? What do you want to write? But even more important than that, you have to set aside time to write everyday. Treat it as a skill you practice, and only then will you get better and better.
Hope this helps!
