Hi ! That’s a nice à project. I just want to let you know that you have also the possibility to become an au pair if you want to spend one or two year abroad. You will take care of kids, but at the same time you can take some classes and travel to visit the country (or other countries) because you earn money and don’t have to pay accommodation and food during your year ! I do this in USA and this is one of my best experience of my life !

Hello! I had the opportunity to study abroad in Beijing, China, and Taipei, Taiwan during my college years in 2008. At that time, the tuition fees were similar to those at UCSD. I strongly encourage you to visit your study abroad center and explore various programs in different countries. This will help you identify which countries interest you, making it easier to choose a program. For budget-friendly options, consider Central America and Southeast Asia, as they tend to be more affordable. If you're excited about learning new languages, I highly recommend Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand, as my friends who studied abroad there had fantastic experiences. Another possibility is teaching English in a foreign country, which can help cover some of your study abroad costs. I also collaborated with my teachers to provide English tutoring while I was overseas, earning some extra money. Trust me, you won't regret embarking on a study abroad adventure!

Hi Hailey,
I did my MBA in Bremen, Germany and it wasn't nearly as expensive as it is in the United States. I also received a travel-card from my school to use the public transport for free, therefore saving me a lot of money on travel, meals on campus were subsidized and my health insurance bill was around 40 euros a month (year 2017).
Apart from the cost-effectiveness, traveling in Europe is very seamless given you don't need additional visa's making it worthwhile!
