What are the requirements to becoming a pediatrician in Florida?
I've always been interested in helping others, and after some time babysitting I decided I wanted to pursue a career that helps children, and what better than pediatrics?

A pediatrician is a medical doctor. That means:
1) high school degree or equivalent
2) bachelors degree (usually 4 years)
3) medical school (usually 4 years)
4) residency, internships, and maybe fellowships (this is where my knowledge start to fade) I think these can be another 3-10 years, depending on specialties and sub-specialties. However, at this point you are a doctor and can start getting paid - you just have to work under the supervision of another doctor.
Somewhere in there, you also have to pass the medical boards for your field.
