Some Dietician Questions

Hi!
I want to be a dietician, so would Sports Medicine and Anatomy & Physiology be helpful for me? Hopefully, since I'm also taking Honors Pre-Calculus soon next year, until what math course is recommended for me in order to become a dietician?

Thank you :)

It varies slightly by program when it comes to math courses, but Nicholas’ recommendation is correct! I remember a few programs showing I would need to take calculus so I took pre-calculus in high school, but at Syracuse where I attended, I ended up only needing statistics. And Anatomy and physiology is a core foundational class, so generally the sciences overall will be important to focus on chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry!

I may be a little biased, but I think you should take as much Math courses as you can! As a dietician especially, I would imagine Statistics would be a good course to make sure you get through before graduating. Even though the higher Calculus courses may not be directly applicable to a dietician, the math skills are still quite useful to learn and practice. You can also get college credit for Calculus math in high school so you don't have to take those kinds of courses in college and get right to your main studies!
