Why is it really hard to get into Law School?

Great question. Whenever you encounter a school or program that is difficult to get in to, it's because competition is fierce. Extremely fierce. For example, I recall when in HS, there was a basketball player who was the team star, but when he got to college he didn't get to play because the competition was better. The same applies to college. The higher you go in academic pursuit, the tougher the competition gets. My advice, if you're considering law, is to put your studies as a high priority. All the best to you.

Law school is hard to get into due to the difficulty of learning all the required classes and requires a large capacity to take in information and understand how it all works.
The LSAT test is a requirement that tests your ability to understand difficult concepts and think in a logical manner.
Law school makes you look at issues from a different perspective and be able to use logic and apply proven case law. This requires a substantial amount of reading and logical thought to make your arguments.
