Hi There! Thanks for your question.
Trade schools, also known as vocational or technical schools, offer students hands-on training for specific trades and careers. Here are some benefits of trade schools:
1. Job-focused education: Trade schools offer training that is directly related to specific careers. This means that students can learn the practical skills and knowledge needed to enter the workforce and begin their careers immediately after graduation.
2. Shorter duration: Trade school programs are generally shorter than traditional four-year college programs. This means that students can enter the workforce sooner and start earning money faster.
3. Lower cost: Trade school programs are often less expensive than traditional college programs. This means that students can avoid taking on large amounts of student debt and start earning money sooner.
4. Hands-on training: Trade schools offer hands-on training that allows students to practice the skills they will need in their careers. This means that students graduate with practical experience that can help them succeed in their careers.
5. High-demand careers: Many trade school programs are focused on high-demand careers, such as healthcare, information technology, and skilled trades. This means that students can find job opportunities in fields that are growing and have a high demand for skilled workers.
Overall, trade schools offer students a practical, focused, and cost-effective way to gain the skills and knowledge needed to enter the workforce and begin successful careers.

Trade school is an excellent choice for young people today as you will be in high demand as soon as you graduate and get accustomed to the sorts of jobs/environments you have trained for. While starting pay right out of trade school as an apprentice may be low, the pay scale slides like a ski jump well north of $100k/year for in-demand trades like electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. The cost of trade school is also a HUGE plus- whereas most liberal arts degrees even at state schools cost upwards of $15,000 per year (and many much higher), trade school for a specific trade may only cost a few thousand dollars for a 2 year program. This means you will graduate debt-free with a virtually guaranteed job upon completion. And again, don’t worry about starting pay- in a few years you’ll be making $50k/year especially in larger cities, and there is always demand for evenings & weekends side work which can earn you a few hundred extra bucks per week. Good luck!
