Are there careers what work with animatronics without needing to be good at math?
I'm interested in animatronics but I struggle with math and I'm wondering if there are options that would work for me or if I need to exclude that when considering careers.

I recommend you initiate your journey by submitting an application for the Disney Internship program. Aim for a role in their animatronics department and see if you can secure a position there!

Even though maths is a necessity in most technical career fields including animatronics, there are other animatronic career courses that doesn't rely on maths.
Here are a list of a few;
1. Animation and programming; While some programming requires deep understanding of maths, some can work without. For instance, if you are interested in animation, your focus should be on story telling and movements and not technical maths.
2. Puppetry and performance: if you are an expert in performance, you can consider puppertee or a aninomatronics performer which doesn't require algorithms maths.
3. Artistic design: This career focus on creativity and skills other than maths, thus you should consider.
In summary, it is important to note that, even if you have no interest in maths, it is important to have little knowledge as it is helpful in proportion, measurements, and even real life situations such as doing your budgets from aninomatronics salary.
I could advice you to take maths, find groups with math complementary skills, have passion, willingness to grow, be creative, and work in a team, to improve your aninomatronics life experiences and career excellence.
I hope this is helpful for you.
