Why ruin the thrill of discovery?
Here's a little secret you should be aware of: each person has a unique tale to tell. Their decisions, choices, and viewpoints are shaped by the world they grew up in. You'll encounter individuals from every corner of life. So, make an effort to get to know people, learn their stories, and you'll find understanding them becomes much easier.

Stay away from comparing your life's journey with others. Bear in mind, comparison only steals away your happiness. Don't concentrate on what others possess and question why you lack the same. Rather, keep your attention on your own journey. This will guide you towards a more joyful life.

Excellent question! I wish I had asked that when I was your age. Several people have already responded with exceptional advice, so I'll take a different approach and keep it simple. As an adult, you have accountability. No do-overs. Things you might have done or said as a teenager that may have caused a few laughs or verbal reprimand can cause you to end up in jail or with a lawsuit as an adult. The HS that may tolerate poor attendance or poor performance is a far cry from college, where you might be told to leave if doing poorly. There is no one there to protect you and warn you of various things you might do that will not be well received. You, and you alone, are accountable.

Once you get out into the real world, you can be whatever you want to be. I know it sounds like a cliché, but it's not. You can follow the traditional path or you can create your own path and whatever you choose will be fine. Come to think of it, one thing you should know is that every choice has its consequences for better or worse.
