When can I take college classes before graduating high school ?
I want to help others find their story through music or by sharing my story. Story being testimony. We all have a testimony but some don’t know it yet.

Hi Neha,
It's nice to hear from you! I think it's better if you don't rush this process! You will need to focus on taking your classes in High School, and then you can graduate. I have an acquaintance who was homeschooled, and he took college classes at a Community College. Maybe you can start to take college classes when you're junior or senior. I recommend you take the AP classes at your school. That way you will have an experience of what's like to take college classes at a very young age. If you're interested in learning more about music, I will encourage you to major in music. You should be able to be in an orchestra, a band, or a music club. Make sure you're performing in front of a large number of people. Maybe you can hire a tutor who will benefit you to become an artist. That way as you grow up, you can become a successful musician! Keep going! You're doing great!

Greetings Neha,
Reading your questions and statement below it, I was unsure what I was responding to directly. Therefore, I will address both as short and direct as I can. First, you will want to speak with your school's guidance counselor about college courses that may be offered to high school students. Many local colleges are connecting with high schools to offer introductory college courses to ease the necessity to take those in the first year of college. Doing a general search, I found https://www.perkins.k12.oh.us/Perkins-High/Content2/college-credit-plus. You will want more guidance from a local person about any offerings. As for the statements, music is a way to express and connect. I would advise you to look at local groups who have needs that may utilize music such as nursing homes or elementary afterschool programs., etc. Volunteering will start to broaden your view of your music and helps mentality around testimonies and sharing. Best wishes for your future endeavors.
