Hey Kadance! Good to know that deciding to get into dentistry. I am an International dentist in India, however I do know what it takes to be a dentist in the US. I think its a great field if you looking for a creative career in medicine. For you to get into dentistry you need to take some science courses as you prerequisites during your undergrad school, eventually you will be appearing for the entrance test, i.e DAT and after clearing you will finally apply to dental school. Side by side I would recommend to Volunteer , shadow a dentist, just so that you know how is dentistry overall as a field, moreover you will also have an idea whether you like the field or not. I hope this help, do reach out if you bave any other question. If I am not able to answer, I can always reach out to a dentist and let you know. All the best :)
Thanks, can't wait to put this advice into action!
