Depending on the clinic/hospital, your shift can range from standard day shift hours to evening. Expect to be busy. You can be doing just certain tasks or you can be doing more than your share. Phone calls are almost always involved whether you're answering patient calls or making outbound calls to pharmacy, specialty doctors and/or insurance companies. This position does require a lot of focus and dedication. But rewarding as you are contributing to better or sustaining the lives of people.
