Something that you are very passionate about pursuing.
Something that you love to do so much, that it they did pay you to do it, you would still come in to work every day and do it anyway.
The path you choose must emphasize the education, training, certifications and other professional requirements that will enable you to pursue your goals and achieve your occupational objectives.

Sin,
Determine your Interests/passion, skills you have, compensation needs .List down your potential career paths that fits them. Assess your skills needed for each potential career path.
Understand your strength's and weakness.
Also remember, any skill can be developed as needed but if you can align your skill with your strength's, your success rate is much higher

Hi Sin,
It really depends on what you're looking for. You can take classes you enjoyed like math, science, English, or social sciences. Once you pick a specific class you feel most interested in, you can do research on the requirements of their degree. For example, to major in math, you can maybe become a software engineer, data scientist, financial analyst, and economics. You will need to be passionate about what you're doing. Hope this helps!

Hello Sin,
To help your decision, when choosing a career path, I would recommend:
1) Find something that aligns with your personality. Do you like to solve problems? Work at slower or faster pace? Prefer weekends off? Definitely something to consider.
2) List your values. Do you value fun work culture, high pay, and/or job security? This may help eliminate choices faster, so you can find your ideal career path.
And 3) when you minimize your choices, possibly look for volunteer opportunities in your career(s) of choice. This may give you the ability to ask direct questions to the those that work directly in that career field.
I hope this information helps you! And good luck on your search!

Hello, Sin! I would say that the two main things to consider when deciding a career path are (1) what you are passionate about and (2) where that passion can meet a need - basically, you want to work in a field and/or organization where your passion/s and others' needs come together. Whether you start your own organization or work for someone else's, if you are doing what you are passionate about, you have a greater chance at having long-term job satisfaction and you are more likely to perform well, have an ongoing desire to learn and grow, and take ownership and pride in what you do!
