Hello Jerome,

Motivation is an important for your career. Well, you have to be energised and be pursued by someone who you can seek help with. You may need a supporter who can assist you for the further steps. A mentor/an advisor/or friends who previously experienced the same matter will help you for your motivation.

You will have a desire to accomplish and achieve your goals once you dream or wish something that will come true. You should have a list of a career-path route plan, which allows you to be an achiever; yet each steps should be easy steps & you can possibly take a risk of being both failed or being successful.

You can overcome your career journey, you need to pay attention on both academic and job career. The reason is that they may expect you to perform better and they may test you either your attitude and ideas. You may collaborate with your colleagues, and stay in touch with your teacher or professor or manager (I do not know where you are at the stage). Therefore, have a look at requirements on both academic route and/or job.

I hope this helps.

Hi Jerome,

This is a great question. Staying motivated and overcoming challenges on career journeys affects all of us. Let's say you want to become a doctor. What is it about becoming a doctor that interests you? Perhaps becoming an electrician or plumber has your interest. These professions usually require working hours that will take some getting used to, but once a person gets used to their new schedules, there is a feeling of accomplishment that is well deserved. A strong motivation can be to remember that no matter what career you choose and work your way toward, you are on your way to earning a good living because you deserve a good life!
Some people might advise you to work on what your passion is, but sometimes, we don't have a passion that applies to a career, although we all need to work, having a career passion may not come to you until you're well into the field you choose and that's ok! I would suggest you find work in an area of study that interests you so you want to keep learning. I know video games can be very popular with young people. That idea can lead the way to lots of career possibilities like becoming a graphic designer, code writer, software engineer, for example. You have the power of your imagination and what you create in your imagination can become a reality! Overcoming challenges is something we all have to deal with and I wish you all of the strength you need in whatever challenge you will face.

All of the best to you,
Phyllis
