I would start by thinking about what really interests you, both in school and life in general. Are you artistic, do you like math, do you like being on a team, do you like to read, do you like to build things. Take what interests you and do some research to find out what careers use those interests and then find out what you need to do to get a job in that field.
But don't worry if you don't really know., you can look at going to a liberal arts college which can give you a broad education where you can learn more about a lot of different areas. If college isn't for you, get a job that is interesting to you and try it out, if it's not for you, you can always try something new.
Most high school students don't know what their career path will be, so don't worry.

I recommend creating a LinkedIn account and trying out the Field of Study Explorer to look at different majors. You can see where they studied, where they currently work, etc.
Field of Study Explorer: https://www.linkedin.com/edu/fos
A few majors I would recommend exploring:
Economics: https://www.linkedin.com/edu/alumni-fos?id=100990
Mathematics: https://www.linkedin.com/edu/alumni-fos?id=100693
Computer Science: https://www.linkedin.com/edu/alumni-fos?id=100189
It's also worth knowing what your goals in life are? How important is having a higher income vs doing something you are more passionate about with lower pay? Many high-paying jobs these days are in tech, where having an engineering or computer science background is very beneficial. Studying business or economics is also a very widely applicable skill set.

Hello Rachel,
You can begin to develop a simple career plan, putting on one side activities that you have more interest, and other activities or areas of knowledge that present little or no interest to you. Then you can reflect on your beliefs and values and pursue activities or practices that are in accordance to what you believe and value most.
