What is the ideal career for me?

Firstly hello and thank you for reading my post.

I am second grade in high school and i have to begin to plan my future. I used to want to be an aerospace engineer. I still want to be an angineer but i dont know. I am a teenager and i am learning someting new about myself daily. I realised that i want to be free, travel the world and help people but i am not sure about do i still want to design planes or spaceships. I like science as much as i like writing. Also i love learning languages. English is my second language and i am learing German and Russian and i will learn spanish and japanese after them. I used to think if people won't remember my name after i dead why do i live then but i am not sure about that anymore.

So, i need your help to find my way, waiting for your reviews.

Holly’s Answer

Hello Memet,
What a grand vision of humanity that you have at your age. It took me years to get that far. You are for sure on the right track. Keep doing what you are doing. Just knowing who you are at your age is a great accomplishment.
Building spaceships is exactly what we all in humanity do need! The career demand is there for great people like you to build spaceships. We will in the future need to travel to new places to inhabit new planets. You sound like just the person to fill the position. I may assure you too that there is a 98 percent percentage gap right now for great leaders in technology. I think most have attributed most time to video games instead of studies like you are incorporating. I am happy to know that you can speak multiple languages, this is wonderful! I think you should not change anything. You are great as you are and you will be great if you follow what you are accomplishing on your own now. We enjoy the questions. I would do space engineering, we are going to need a way off the planet. You would be more than great for that!

Thank you comment icon Thank you so much. Your words are inspiring and you may be right. Maybe i don't need anyone to guide me i just need myself to guide. Mehmet
Thank you comment icon Hi Mehmet, I agree with Holly's answer. I would add that you don't have to choose yet! Study things that interest you, solve problems and have fun. I'm 33 now, and just starting my second career. Before I entered college, I thought of being an engineer, pilot, teacher, vet, physical therapist and more. Now I'm a writer and marketer. Maybe next I'll run my own business. :-) Good luck! Emily Veach
