Hey Alexis,
You'll always feel that you can do better and that your music is not good enough. That's the obvious flaw of the creative mind. But don't worry, the main task you should focus on is practice and have a good experience from it, have fun. Love the process, not the achievements. I suggest you listen to more music, try to understand the sound, and feel the music in your soul and you'll never question yourself too much.
Questioning yourself is you wanting to grow, but know that growing is the purpose of questioning and not the other way. You'll have times when you will want to give up but know that music is never going to judge you, it's always will be right beside you. Take care and be happy, my friend.

Well like I usually say to my clients and to my close creatives ... Talented and amazing creators are never satisfied with what they create most of the times ... But the ability to stop questioning what you've created and only focus on how to discover what your strengths are is vital in being progressive! ... Believing you can do better is key to actually doing better at the long run ... That's just you criticizing what you've done because you know you can go way harder

Hi Alexis,
It's good that you are trying to find a place in the world of music. Following one's dream is not that easy. So you follow your musical dreams and face various challenges: Don't give up and continue your creative journey.
Maybe you need to get musical education. It will help you understand your mistakes and be more comfortable with your works.

Hi Alexis! Number one, hearing songs in your head is a blessing! Embrace your ideas, keeping in mind that they are YOUR ideas! My style of writing is multi-genre, because I love and embrace many styles of music. I learned by listening to songs from all around the world. This expanded my appreciation for different music, which I then incorporated various instrument sounds in my own writing. Keep writing, stay positive - and CREATE!
