It's natural to have doubts and concerns about pursuing your dreams, especially when it comes to a creative field like fashion. However, it's important to remember that with dedication and perseverance, you can work towards achieving your goals. Here's some advice to help you navigate these feelings:
1. **Self-Belief:** Believe in your abilities and passion. Many successful fashion designers faced self-doubt at some point in their journey. Trust in your creativity and your love for making dresses and sketches.
2. **Education and Skill Development:** Consider pursuing formal education or training in fashion design. This will help you develop your skills and gain the knowledge needed to excel in the industry.
3. **Practice and Persistence:** Continuously practice and refine your craft. Improvement comes with time and effort, so don't be discouraged by initial setbacks.
4. **Seek Feedback:** Share your work with others, such as teachers, peers, or mentors, and be open to constructive criticism. Feedback can help you grow and refine your designs.
5. **Networking:** Connect with professionals in the fashion industry, attend fashion events, and build a network. Networking can open doors to opportunities and collaborations.
6. **Set Realistic Goals:** Break down your dreams into smaller, achievable goals. This makes your path to success more manageable and less overwhelming.
7. **Stay Informed:** Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and market demands. Understanding the industry landscape is crucial for success.
8. **Resilience:** Understand that setbacks are a part of any journey. Learn from failures and use them as stepping stones to move forward.
9. **Passion and Authenticity:** Stay true to your unique style and vision. Authenticity can set you apart in the competitive world of fashion.
10. **Explore Alternatives:** While pursuing your fashion dreams, consider other related careers within the industry, such as fashion merchandising, styling, or fashion journalism.
Remember that success often doesn't happen overnight, and setbacks are a natural part of any creative endeavor. Keep your passion alive, stay focused on your goals, and be patient with yourself as you work towards achieving your dreams in the world of fashion.

Hello, Yadira !
You have expressed a concern that is certainly valid and I would like to share some advice. Your mind set is very important right now because you will lose your drive towards fashion work if you foster worry and negative thinking. We all want the best, so it's only natural to be a little concerned. You also realize that fashion is an opinion field of work, so I can understand how you must feel right now.
Worry is a huge barrier, especially when most of the fun in fashion comes from the process, the journey you take as you grow your creativity, style and talent. Don't refuse yourself that fun. Right now it is just you doubting yourself, not anyone else. You are a step ahead because you are already busy sketching and sewing, constructing garments - you have this ! Sometimes if you just "do", you can forget your worries and you will start to feel the steps you are taking towards progress. The more you create, the larger your clothing collection will be. You must do what your heart leads you to, express your talent and do not be discouraged at any point in the journey. You're doing this for you.
The "what if" of your question has many answers. Most of the time, when people in any profession make a change or decide that field is not right for them, they either go back to school for something else they like or make a transition to something similar or completely different. Some people teach, too. There will always be something for you to do in your future. Things don't happen overnight and no one can tell you exactly how things will go, but you can make sure that you reach out for guidance and feedback on your projects. Take each small step as an accomplishment leading to professional success.
Being around others who have the same interest will greatly help. Always try to get a fashion show of your clothing by asking your school and community organizations if you can put on shows. Be around fashion as much as you can and you will see that others will share your excitement and the negative, worrisome thoughts will start to be replaced with confidence. Never give up !

Hello Yadira, it's clear from your narrative that you're a 10th grader with a passion for fashion, particularly in creating dresses and sketching. You already possess some foundational skills in these areas, which is fantastic.
First and foremost, it's crucial to have faith in your abilities. Strive to enhance your skills through diligent practice and never stop learning. This will propel you closer to your dream. I've always been driven by the ambition of launching my own fashion label and participating in the four major fashion weeks. Even in moments of doubt, I persist.
Secondly, your interest in sketching can be further nurtured by studying illustrations from past fashion brands. This will not only provide inspiration but also help you develop a unique aesthetic sense.
As for dressmaking, there's a wealth of instructional videos available on YouTube. Our teacher frequently encourages us to learn from these resources. By following the steps outlined in these tutorials, you can refine your dressmaking skills.
