Allison, the immediate response to your question is: one step at a time. Looking that far down the road is intimidating and unnecessary. Each step prepares you for the next. You'll get there when you get there. I have a Master's Degree in Early Education. Was it hard? Yes and no; that depends on the person and what she or he is pursuing. It seems to me that your ambition will carry you. Just start building the skills you'll need, in writing, reading, research, studying, organization, time management and self-care. But enjoy your life now. Once you do get where you're going, you don't want to regret missing the things your youth offered you.

Hi Allison,
I am currently perusing my Masters degree. I will not say that it has been a walk in park, but it has been very rewarding. Choosing to go all the way takes true commitment. And if you want it, don’t worry about the workload because anything worth having, is worth fighting for.
