Typically, once you complete high school or its equivalent, you're ready to attend college. This usually happens around the age of 18 in many parts of the world. If you're aiming to go to college, here's what you need to do:
1. **Get a High School Diploma or Equivalent**: Generally, you'll need to have a high school diploma or a GED (General Educational Development) certificate.

3. **Go Through the Application Process**: You'll have to fill out college applications, which often include essays and letters of recommendation.
4. **Plan Your Finances**: Look into financial aid options, scholarships, and grants to help pay for your tuition.
5. **Pick a Major**: Choose a field of study or major that matches your interests and career aspirations.
Why should you go to college?
- **Education and Knowledge**: College gives you a thorough education and knowledge in your chosen area.

Hi Tram, I'll take a stab at the questions that haven't been answered:
Why do you need to go to college?
Unfortunately, a lot of jobs require a college diploma, so that's a primary reason for needing to go to college. If you can go, it's a unique time in your life where you can focus on learning and satisfying your curiosities, while meeting other people who have similar and different interests. However, it's very difficult to afford, which is why colleges with great financial aid are especially helpful.
Can college help you find a career?
Yes! Colleges usually have career coaching, helping you build your resume, find your interests, and reaching out to companies who might be interested in hiring you. College is also a place where you make lifelong friends, who end up becoming part of your network, which will help in the future when you're looking for job opportunities. Maybe your friend will work at a company you're interested in, or will know someone who works at a company you're interested in (that's what LinkedIn is for), which is ultimately very helpful.
Best of luck!
