Hi, I see that no one has answered your question yet and did not want to leave it unanswered. Being a Sports Agent is very specific and there are not a lot of agents out there so not a lot of people have experience or knowledge of this career. I did find this link that sounds interesting, hope it helps: http://www.forbes.com/sites/leighsteinberg/2012/08/15/how-to-be-a-great-sports-agent/

If you have not seen the movie, Jerry Maguire yet, I would suggest watching it as well :) Good movie, probably some truth to the Sports Agent business along with some comedy and football :)

Good luck.

Leon’s Answer

Having played soprts my entire life, football as my main sport as a kid growing up from 8 to 18 years of age, I have had the pleasure of going to college at USC and meeting many players. Being a sport agent takes a special kind of person. There are many players up and coming and you have to be honest. Again if you have not seen the movie Jerry Maguire, it is a must see movie to get the feel of being a sports agent. Again, its takes a special person. You have to be excited and have power and pride in yourself and your agent
