Getting an MD degree was the culmination of years of work in high school and college. Was it worth all the work, yes it was. There is nothing that can describe the white coat ceremony , when you put on your white coat after obtaining your MD degree. I have been a physician, specifically an orthopefic surgeon , for 42 years and have no regrets. Work hard and go for it !

It feels great to get a medical degree but what I've learned is that life is a journey. I always wanted to be a doctor and I thought once I reached that goal, I'd be so happy. Yes, I was happy but life continues. You don't just reach a goal and that's it. This applies to any job. As an actor or actress, you can get an Oscar but that's not the end of your career. You continue on.
After your degree, there's so much work and I think that's what you need to focus on. Is this the job I want to do for the rest of my life?
I advice every person looking into medical school is to work as a medical scribe. You are like a secretary and type for the doctor. This allows you to see what a doctor does, you get paid, gives you experience, and if you decide you don't like it, you can just quit and you didn't spend so much time going through schooling.
