Are you a veteran? Or do you mean veterinarian? If you're a veteran then you will likely qualify for the Post 9/11 GI Bill. When you've chosen a university/college find the registrar's office and ask to speak with someone about the GI Bill. What's a scholarship? Money toward your tuition/books that you earn somehow (sometimes you simply apply, sometimes you have to write a paper, volunteer for things, etc.) Why get one? If you have the GI Bill then the tuition scholarship is 100% money in your bank account. If you don't have the GI Bill then it helps pay for school. When do you get it? For me they came shortly after the semester began.
