Yes. There are two paths. One is to work for a large global tech company that has an expansive footprint and the other is to work for a smaller technology company that is looking to eventually expand globally. Either path is good. If you are wanting to live abroad, the quicker path is typically with a larger company. I have done both and both of them have their pro's and con's.

In my current role I work closely with the Global Marketing teams and with collaboration technology, such as Skype for Business & Zoom, it allows you the freedom to work from pretty much anywhere in the world. I have colleagues within the same team based in a variety of different countries.
