Yes, Nurse Midwifery is something you can specialize in. When looking for an NP program, make sure that you are looking at schools that offer this as an option, not all schools do. I am a family nurse practitioner with a specialty in oncology, and I love it. When you find the right fit for your, it is awesome. Hope this helps and good luck to you!!

Yes you can do both. It’s just a different certification so make sure the programs you’re looking at offer that for you. Both jobs are equally rewarding. I am a nurse practitioner, and really love it no matter what you decide I’m sure you will change the lives of many!
