Check with your local IBEW union shop and schedule an interview. The union has many benefits that will have you in a great position later in life. They'll also pay for your education as you go through your apprenticeship. You can also pursue a career through a non-union shop as well. Some of those employers will pay for your education as well provided you get good grades. You'll need to reach out, via a phone call, to the union shop or electrical contractors near you and ask for a shot at being hired. Good luck 🙏🏽

You can look up local electrician companies and ask if they are looking for an apprentice. It might also be a good idea to ask them if you could shadow them for a day to see if it’s something you would enjoy pursuing.
