Brooklyn’s Answer

As with every career, there are pros and cons. Psychology is no exception to that rule. Firstly, there are many different subcategories of psychology. It is important that you make sure to take the correct psychology classes. Another thing about majoring in psychology is statistics. If you do not really care for math, then maybe consider a different area of study. Psychology's pros outweigh the cons tenfold. As a psychologist you get to be a resource for struggling individuals who may have nowhere left to turn to. Psychologists are must more apt at understanding the human brain, why we think the way we do, and what ways we can go about to prevent harmful ideology. Not only is psychology a very personal field with great reward, but you will find that most psychologists are paid handsomely. That is, if you don't mind getting your PhD.
