Hello Brandon,
The educational prerequisites for a career in Funeral Service Education can differ significantly depending on the specific regulations of each state. The most common requirement is an Associate Degree in this field. However, the spectrum of requirements can range from no college education at all to a full four-year college degree.
As an example, my Uncle completed a comprehensive three-year course in mortuary science. This course was offered by an accredited institution, which could have been a school, college, or university - I'm afraid I can't recall the exact details.
I hope this information proves helpful to you. Best of luck on your educational journey!
