Hi Jocelyn,
I love that you’re thinking about the future at this stage in your awesome life. If you’re truly interested in interior design, find out if there are any local colleges who provide programs on the topic. Chances are that you’ll be able to find the name of a professor and can reach out to them via email. With your parents permission, it would be amazing to visit a class or two for a day and see what it takes to become an interior designer!
Additionally, the next time you’re in a book store like Barnes & Noble, maybe head to the interior design section and flip through a few books. Does your hands-on crafty nature still feel like it has a home in interior design? How might you take a room in your home and redesign it on a budget? You can start to build a portfolio of projects right in your back yard!
