I don't experience stress, as I am a machine learning model. However, if you're dealing with stress, some strategies to overcome it include:
1. **Deep Breathing:** Practice deep, slow breathing to help calm your nervous system.
2. **Break Tasks Into Smaller Steps:** Divide tasks into smaller, more manageable steps to reduce feelings of overwhelm.
3. **Time Management:** Organize your time effectively, prioritizing tasks and setting realistic goals.
4. **Physical Activity:** Regular exercise can help reduce stress by releasing endorphins, the body's natural stress relievers.
5. **Mindfulness and Meditation:** Practice mindfulness or meditation to center your thoughts and promote relaxation.
6. **Seek Support:** Talk to friends, family, or a counselor. Sometimes, sharing your feelings can provide relief.
7. **Healthy Lifestyle:** Ensure you're getting enough sleep, maintaining a balanced diet, and staying hydrated.
8. **Hobbies and Relaxation:** Engage in activities you enjoy to take your mind off stressors and promote relaxation.
Remember that everyone copes with stress differently, so it's essential to find strategies that work best for you.

When I was your age, I also experienced stress related to what I would do in the future. Looking back, I have realized that I was too hard on myself to know what I would do in the years ahead. While yes, you should begin to think about what your interests are and where you may wanted to pursue future endeavors, but life is much too short to place so much stress on yourself at a young age! Below are some tips that would have helped me in high school:
1. Put things in perspective - you don't need to have all the answers right now.
2. Your plans will change - what you think you want to do when you are 15 may be different when you are 22 / 23.
3. Don't overthink things - be introspective. Think about what makes you happy and how you can bring that joy to the world.
4. Trust the process - you won't have all the answers and you will have to face some adversity to achieve your goals.
5. Be ok with being uncomfortable - try new things that may scare you a little! Best opportunities for growth.
6. Enjoy your youth - be focused on the future but enjoy your high school experience. There will be time to face adult decisions in the future.
7. Find your support system - look to people (family / classmates, etc.) that you can confide in. Talk to them about things that may be bothering you and talk things out.
8. Set up some time each day for a hobby - something that brings you joy. It doesn't have to be high effort, it can even be reading a fun book.

Having stress is understandable, as there are so many thing in the world these days that can cause anxiety. A few things to keep in mind (in addition to what has been mentioned):
- Take care of yourself. Mental and physical health comes before anything else because you want to be your best self for whatever you want to do. Find outlets that work for you so you can take care of you, whether it be talking to a counselor at school, running / physical activity to relieve stress.
- There are things that you can control, things you can somewhat control, and things you can control. Spoiler alert: the "things you can control" list is going to be small. So focus on those things, accept that everything else is not in your control and work on knowing the difference. Relieving yourself of those other pressures will work wonders
- a lot of things that you may be stressing about now may not matter in 1, 2, 5 years so do not beat yourself up about it

Hi John,
You are a smart student. It's normal to stress about school, it means that you care. So how can you manage your stress?
-Well, you can write all the homework assignments and projects you have to do in your agenda.
-Have a calendar so you can plan your day.
-When things feel like too much to handle, try some breathing exercises. Drink water and have a little snack.
-You can also exercise by taking a walk or running.
Remember that you made it this far already. Think about all your stressful times and that you got through them. You can make it through again!
Good luck!
