Starting an online business can be a great way to pursue your entrepreneurial dreams. Here are some steps to consider when starting your own business online:
1. Conduct market research: Before starting an online business, it's important to conduct market research to identify your target audience and determine the demand for your product or service.
2. Choose a business model: There are several types of online businesses to consider, such as affiliate marketing, freelancing, coaching and consulting, information products, software as a service (SaaS), and ecommerce.
3. Create a business plan: A business plan is essential for outlining your goals, strategies, and financial projections. It can also help you secure funding from investors or lenders.
4. Build a website: A website is the foundation of your online business. You can use website builders like Shopify or Wix to create a professional-looking website without any coding knowledge.
5. Set up payment processing: To accept payments online, you'll need to set up payment processing. You can use services like PayPal or Stripe to securely process payments from customers.
6. Market your business: Marketing is essential for attracting customers to your online business. You can use social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO) to promote your business and reach your target audience.
7. Stay organized: As your online business grows, it's important to stay organized. You can use project management tools like Asana or Trello to keep track of tasks and deadlines.

Below are more thoughts, Eli.
1) Truly understand your prospective customers' needs and how your offering will address these needs.
2) Is your offering unique in some ways? There is a very high chance that what you want to provide is already available in many forms for your prospective customers. Consider analyzing your offering side-by-side with other offerings available. What makes yours unique? Is it the price, quality, availability, design, performance, or something else?
3) Merge #1 and #2 above into a sharp value proposition: In one sentence, how would you pitch your offering in a way that highlights the problem it is solving and the unique value proposition you are providing?
4) SEO and website. When it comes to building your website, research the keywords your likely customers may be using in search engines and create content to address those search queries. On your website, make it as easy as possible for your prospective audiences to click a "conversion" button such as "Get a quote," "Schedule a call," etc.
