How many credit hours should I take my freshmen year in college?

I want to be an anesthesiologist so I know that I will have to take a lot of science classes. I'm not exactly sure what a credit hour is regarding how many classes you would have a week and for how long they will last. What is the average amount of credit hours that a freshmen should yak and what is the maximum you would recumbent? I'm asking because I want to get most of my difficult classes out of the way freshman year and save my easy classes for junior and senior year. #college #professor #student #freshman

Hi,
That really depends on what you can handle, I would discuss this with your advisor and friends/family...but, the decision is up to you and what you think you can handle. My daughter, for example, was able to do 15-18 semester hours each term and graduated with a 4 yr degree in just 3 yrs ... it can be done.
Good luck! :)
