Is computer science a good field for people who are extroverted?
I am an extroverted high schooler that's interested in comp sci, but I am worried that I'm going to be lonely since this field includes working independently a lot.

When developing software, remember that you're not operating in a vacuum. Your team typically includes a project manager, lead designer, integration team, and fellow developers, all of whom play integral roles in virtually every project.
Collaboration is key in this field. You're not just coding solo; you're co-developing alongside others. It's essential to actively engage with your team members.
Regardless of whether you're an introvert or extrovert, the tasks assigned to you are opportunities to showcase your abilities.
However, if the idea of working independently on assignments doesn't appeal to you, consider exploring other career paths. Fields like sales and marketing often provide more collaborative environments.
