From where should I study for AP CSA?
As a 16 year old from India, I do not wish to take classes for this subject because they are not aligning with my school examination schedule. So are there any free resources on the web from where I can prep for this exam (like Khan academy for SAT)?

Hi Mananya, your school may be able to recommend free resources or they may even be able to provide you with a resource that they will pay for. This will likely be the best way to find a comprehensive course as many courses online may not contain all information on the exam.

Sure, there are several free online resources available for AP Computer Science A (CSA) exam preparation. Here are a few that you might find helpful:
Wiingy: Offers free and official AP Computer Science A practice tests. It provides links to past AP CSA question papers and free-response questions (FRQs). However, it does not have official multiple-choice questions.
Code.org: Provides a free curriculum for AP CSA. It introduces students to software engineering and object-oriented design while they learn the Java programming language. The curriculum includes engaging projects and activities that inspire learning.
CodeHS: This is a resource hub where you can find every resource you need to level up your AP CSA course. It offers free tutorials, a digital textbook, and more.
Varsity Tutors: An educational platform that provides practice tests for all AP exams, including AP Computer Science A. It has divided the questions into 5 sections to make learning interesting for students.
College Board: Although not all resources here are endorsed by the College Board, it’s a good place to find supplementary materials for your AP CSA instruction.
CodeStepByStep: Offers self-directed student practice and instructional videos for students.
Remember, consistent practice and understanding of programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms are key to doing well in the AP CSA exam. Good luck with your studies! 😊
