Carl’s Answer

Hi JHonathan,

Great question. It all depends on what you want to do. Usually in graduate business programs, it is helpful to gain some real world experience before attending. I have three graduate degrees(business, network management, and project management). I worked while I was in school. My real world knowledge gave me more insight in my classroom studies.

Carl recommends the following next steps:

Decide what you want to study in graduate school and seek out a person in that field for their thoughts

Kelly’s Answer

my suggestion is to continue but how about applying for a summer internship. I know my company Verizon offers them and so do many other companies.. best of both worlds..... you get the experience sometimes college credits and still can continue your education.

Roland’s Answer

I would suggest both to you. You want to make yourself stand out in the job market and a higher education will do that. While you are in your Masters program you more than likely with be required to associate yourself with your desired field of study. Some are even required to perform and internship. If you have to time and the capacity to do both I would suggest going for it. It will only make you better and more marketable in the long run.
