Hi Brittney,
To become a teacher first thing you need to evaluate yourself if your are ready for it from your soul. Teaching is just not managing kid n all.
Teacher is one of the important person in everyone life as since kid till adult they spend a significant amount of lifespan. Teacher is going to shape a kid into a good adult. Teacher shows the way the how a kid going see the world. So you need to have lot of patience, you need to understand kid or student what they are not saying but they mean. You need to understand each kid is a unique star, so one instruction will not work with other. You need to come up with new idea every day to keep up kids/student motivation. You need to understand them from inside and handle accordingly. They should feel connected to you.
Thanks,
Good bless you

Brittney,
Be able and willing to relate to your kids. Get to know what they like, dislike and what's going on in their lives outside of the classroom. If they know you care about them as a person (and you will - kids are the best) then motivating them to learn in your classroom will be so much easier. You'll need some patience, thick skin and most importantly a sense of humor! Laugh with them. Your class may be the one thing they look forward to all day, and you may be the one adult that they're excited to see at school. Put your kids first because your job is SO important!
