How I can develop positive attitude toward mathematics ?
Hello,am Emily currently at grade 11, I have a negative attitude towards mathematics and all calculation in common. Once a teacher enters in class my attitude changes.

Remember that each class is an investment in your future. Not all will be fun or enjoyable. Having a negative attitude towards something you can’t change or control will just waste energy.
Something I ask myself often “can I change it and can I control it”. You can’t change needing to get the work done, but you can control your approach towards it. Remember, this is a small portion of your life that may feel intense, but will be over in a blink of an eye.

Hi! As a Math major, I would say I developed my interest in it when I first discovered the underlying reasoning to things.
For example, instead of trying to simply apply formulas, I learned to derive them. My opinion on Math is that it's very logical. If you follow through process, you would get the right answer. I think of it as solving puzzles, putting pieces together. There are also different ways in solving problems so don't be discouraged if your thought process was different from others or the teacher!
