Part of the joy of singing is to share it with other people. I think it is important to realize that as you are learning, you may make mistakes, there may be people who don't like what you do. But that is true of everything in life. Yes, it can be scary. But it is better to be brave and take that chance than to never try. There are many many professional singers who have stage fright, who worry about how they are doing. But it doesn't stop them from auditioning and performing.
Here's the hardest thing: to believe in yourself and worry less about what other people think or say. Know what YOU want for yourself, and then pursue it. You may find out along the way that it isn't the most important thing to be a solo artist. You may find that simply singing in a choir satisfies you. But you will never know if you don't try. Making the effort is the bravest thing you can do.

Believe in the beauty of your voice! Showcase your talent by uploading videos of you singing Bollywood or Classical songs on YouTube. Don't hold back, let the world hear your melody!
Next, why not give the Indian Idol contest a shot? Even if you're from Nepal, don't let that stop you. Assume you can participate and take your chance!
Lastly, seek out a guru or teacher. They can guide you in honing your vocal skills, helping you to sing with the finesse of Arijit Singh or Atif Aslam. Remember, every great singer started somewhere. This could be your beginning!

Hello Love,
Building Confidence in Pursuing a Singing Career
Building confidence in pursuing a singing career can be challenging, especially if you are not feeling good about your studies and fear judgment from others. However, there are several strategies and practices that can help you gain confidence and pursue your dream of becoming a singer.
Self-Reflection and Acceptance
Start by reflecting on your passion for singing and accepting it as a part of who you are. Embrace your talent and recognize that pursuing a career in singing is a valid and admirable goal. Understanding and accepting yourself is the first step towards building confidence.
Positive Affirmations
Engage in positive self-talk and affirmations to boost your confidence. Remind yourself of your strengths as a singer and the progress you have made through vocal lessons. Repeat affirmations such as “I am a talented singer” or “I have the ability to pursue my dreams” to reinforce positive beliefs about yourself.
Surround Yourself with Supportive People
Seek out individuals who support your aspirations and provide encouragement. Share your passion for singing with friends and family members who believe in you. Their support can help bolster your confidence and provide the reassurance you need to pursue your dreams.
Set Realistic Goals
Establish achievable goals related to your singing career. Whether it’s performing at local events, recording a demo, or participating in talent shows, setting realistic milestones can give you a sense of accomplishment and contribute to building confidence over time.
Continuous Improvement
Continue taking vocal lessons and honing your skills as a singer. The more you invest in improving your craft, the more confident you will become in your abilities. Practice regularly, experiment with different vocal techniques, and seek feedback from experienced musicians or vocal coaches to refine your talent.
Visualize Success
Use visualization techniques to imagine yourself succeeding as a singer. Picture yourself performing on stage, receiving applause from an audience, or recording your own music. Visualization can help instill confidence by creating mental images of achieving your goals.
Overcoming Fear of Judgment
It’s natural to feel apprehensive about sharing your talent with the world, especially when pursuing a non-traditional career path. However, remember that pursuing your passion is ultimately about personal fulfillment rather than seeking validation from others. Overcoming the fear of judgment involves focusing on the joy that singing brings you and finding the courage to share it with others despite potential criticism.
Seeking Professional Guidance
Consider seeking guidance from career counselors or life coaches who specialize in helping individuals pursue creative careers. Professional guidance can provide valuable insights, strategies for overcoming self-doubt, and practical advice for navigating the challenges of pursuing a singing career.
In conclusion, building confidence in pursuing a singing career involves self-reflection, positive affirmations, seeking support from others, setting realistic goals, continuous improvement, visualization, overcoming fear of judgment, and seeking professional guidance. By embracing these strategies, you can cultivate the confidence needed to pursue your dream of becoming a singer.

Hello, Love !
My first reaction is to tell you to pursue your singing because it sounds like you are talented and it is something you really love. You can have a career as a singer. You can even learn the ropes of recording studios and other aspects of the music world and be around the business as well as perform. I am here to encourage you to get to a place where you can ignore the insecurity triggers and develop into a career you will truly love.
Atul's advice is fabulous and I agree with the advice. Pinpoint the individuals who are not supportive of your singing pursuits and try to avoid talking to them about it. You may have already received negative messages from unsupportive people and that's why you may be apprehensive about going further as a singer. The best way to handle it would be to associate with your friends that enjoy your singing and take it a step at a time. You are currently receiving vocal lessons and that is a huge plus. You are taking active, positive steps to hone your talent.
I would advise that you register at Indeed and Linked In as a singer. You can sometimes see notices for singers, performers or to work in a studio that will bring you close to the music industry. Musicians Page is a website directory that lists people in the business and singers list themselves there, too. I would suggest listing yourself there. I left the link to it below. You can also consider a listing for yourself at Ace Music Booking Agency via the link I provided below.
I would advise that you experiment with many genres and you will always know which genre is your forte, but for work, it would be advantageous to be versatile as a singer. I would also suggest going to college and majoring in Music. I have left links to colleges below for you to explore. I think that the academic route will increase your confidence and wash away some of your fear since you will be around like minded people and will gain a wide variety of knowledge and skill about the industry.
I hope that this is of help and I wish you all the best for a wonderful future !
