What are some good things to know if you are thinking about becoming a Lawyer?
I just want to know the basic things I need to know about becoming a Lawye. #lawyers

It's going to take years to become a lawyer. Plan out your journey. What do you need to finish in order to apply to law school? Start early, and stay focused. Realize that it's going to be expensive, exhausting, and occasionally difficult. But both the journey and the destination can be incredibly rewarding.
Think about what kind of lawyer you want to be. Every industry needs lawyers, so you should think about the legal opportunities in a field you've got passion for. (Do you love music? Do you want to work with upcoming musicians on record contracts? )

The road to being a lawyer is long and requires a lot of dedication and late nights. I suggest starting with some basics at a community college in paralegal work. You may find you like working under a lawyer better than being one, but either way this will give you a solid idea of if you are suited to the field and want to pursue it further.
Thank you for that answer because I was thinking about talking that route. I was just concerned about how financially stable will that make me to become a paralegal. Also, what exactly do they do?
