Are there any medical fields that specialize in nutrition and athletics that is not Kinesioligy, and what are the things I should be doing to further place myself in that direction?
I really like athletics and nutrition, but do not want to go into kinesiology, I still want to attend medical school and become a doctor, but was just wondering if there were any specific career paths that would be best for those interests. #doctor

Hi Tristan!
It is great that you have an idea already of what you want to study in college. I have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University. My specific kinesiology program, as with many others, had multiple nutrition classes and many that also concentrated on physical activity.
Since schools have different majors available, there may be several different choices for you. Kinesiology is more of a broad subject area for all of these topics. If you wanted a particular concentration many universities offer a program for more specific majors.
Some Bachelor degrees consist of majors in:
-Athletic Training
-Nutritional Science
-Dietetics
-Sports Performance
If you already know the school that you are attending I would look at their majors and find the one within these areas. If you have not picked a school yet, research schools that you are interested in and look at the majors from there. If there are any similar to athletics or nutrition, look into them to see if they are right for you.
