I want to major in Nursing, but I also want to be a Psychiatrist. Should I do both?

Nursing is something I have always wanted to do, but I have had very good experience with psychiatrists and I too want to provide the support they give out. I know with nursing you are saving lives, but would it be a bad idea to do a minor on Psychology or into something that can get me there?

You can double major in both nursing and psychology. Do keep in mind that in order to become a doctor it does take many years so focus your energy on your main goal.
