You'd have to first get a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. You'd then go to dental school, and after that, possibly do a residency.

My husband is a physician and I have good friends who are dentists!
It takes a lot of years of school and a lot of hard work. While your friends have their first jobs, you’ll still be in school.
Think about why you want to be a dentist!
You’ll need top STEM grades in high school to get into a competitive college. You’ll need to have a pre-med or pre-dental major in STEM. And study for your entry exam.

Think about financing for many years of school
Apply to top colleges
