I would like more insight on the life of a biochemist and a bio-medical engineer

I have been debating whether or not to go into biochemistry or bio-medical engineering and I found out that a bio-medical engineer makes more than a biochemist so now I am indecisive. #job #biochemistry #biochemist

Hi,

I am a biochemist/structural biologist as well and as for your question, I would say both are equally good. A biochemist in an industry is paid much more than one in the academia. Also depends on what you are more interested in. If you want to put money as your first preference then pharma industry like Pfizer or Genentech is where you should look for good option. Although I don't know much in the field of bio-medical engineering.
