Having a computer science degree can land you with various opportunities in IT world. Computer science can be expanded into several modules, there I would suggest to narrow your field and concentrate on the modules you are interested in. Computer science would require you to think analytically to develop systems and programs, but must also be detail-oriented enough to troubleshoot problems. You must also be able to communicate with non-technical people to assess their needs and convey technical information in plain language. Creativity is also essential for those computer science engineers who hope to come up with the latest app or technology gadget. Given the rapid rate of change within technology, computer science engineers need to have a thirst for learning to keep up with the latest developments. Given the universality of computer technology in society today, there are many different job possibilities for the computer science graduate. The right job for you will depend on your personal skills, values, and interests. Please refer to the links below, to have a better understanding and possible career prospective on computer science.
