What should I be doing during my senior year of high school to prepare for medical school?
I would like to go to medical school in the future to become a doctor. #medicine

I would suggest you take as many of the advance courses that you are able. There are a number of advantages to this approach.
First, this is something the colleges will look at, most especially those that have strong Pre-Med Programs. Secondly, it introduces to the reality of the academic pressures you will experience in college as well medical school. Thirdly, these courses give you a better foundation for the types of courses you are going to take in college and medical school. The better foundation you have, the better you will be able to adjust to the academic demands in college and most especially medical school.

Take as many AP or IB courses in high school. You have a lot of years of education in front of you and getting college credit in high school can save you time and money.
Try to find opportunities to pursue research.
Volunteer at your local hospital or low-income clinic. Ask physicians, PAs or other clinical providers if you can shadow them.
