How can I become a environmental/wildlife enforcement officer?

My ultimate goal is to become an environmental enforcement or wildlife enforcement officer for Environment and Climate Change Canada. I have so many questions about this position (what's the hiring process like? what is a typical day in the job? what is the pay? do I have to relocate to different locations in Canada? I'm thinking of getting a bachelor of arts in environmental studies, would that qualify to be an officer?, and many more) and would love to connect to anyone who are or have been an environment/ wildlife enforcement officer or those who shares the same goal as me

Thank you comment icon Hi there, I work in a similar area, I found that volunteering helped me a lot in achieving my dream job in conservation and wildlife. Look at volunteering opportunities, it shows that you are enthusiastic to potential employers, but also allows you learn more about the job and understand if it is something you want and finally, a great opportunity to network. I hope that helps! Kelly Martin
