Is it possible that I could spend a day in a profession, so I know what I could be dealing with in the future?

I don't want to get into a profession where I don't like the environment I'm working in. I rather know what it feels like before I enter the profession.

Thank you comment icon Ayokunnumi, that may be possible, but it will likely depend on the industry that you are interested in. For example if you are considering working in a healthcare facility, it may be possible to volunteer within the hospital. You will likely have to pass a background check, etc. before you can begin. What year are you in school and what career field are you interested in? I hope this helps a little bit. Ms. Brockman Velma Brockman, M.Ed.
Thank you comment icon I am currently interested in accounting and pharmacy and I am a sophomore in high school. Ayokunnumi

The best way through an internship. An internship will let you experience that professional for a short period of time. Another way to experience it for a shorter period of time is to shadow someone who is currently in that profession.
