If this is your second act in life how do you find a way to keep up with all the tech that is available to people out there and how do you incorporate it into your study habits?

I am a single mom in my late 40's and recently went back to school to further my education level and career goals; I want to become a grant writer. This career change has been after years in business and helping my for profit hardline goods companies make more for their bottom lines. I want to help non-for-profits; the people who help people; well I want to help them. #payforward #horizons #helpthosewhohelpothers #secondact #technewbie #education

I recommend not overwhelming yourself trying to learn all of the technology out there. Pick a few that are more suited toward your career or study interests--get to know them/follow. In addition, talk to some of the folks in your class to get a feel for what they are using. Try it out!

A third way is to look up blogs for "best of" sites and then use youtube videos for walk through's and how-tos. There are youtube videos for EVERYTHING!

My advice is to read blogs regarding technology. This will help you engage within an area of interest. I also recommend you use the technology.
